inspections

This is what you’re getting by using complete boat inspections ;

A very competent commercial skipper since 1992, loads of prior private marine pleasure and an automotive trade background.

My name is Glen Forte, I’m here to give you the low down on what your about to buy. I’ve been around boats since I was 6 and have had a career in the marine industry that I’m really happy with.

From towing water skiers to rebuilding big engines, “I’ve been everywhere man” lol. I’ve Driven Hundreds of different boats and would say I’ve seen it all, but there’s always something new to see and learn and I love that about that, so I can’t say that.

I started in water sports in 91 commercially, mainly water skiing and scuba diving, then on to parasailing and jet skis, not to mention sailing, I love it all. Have also worked in the film industry for 8 years doing marine work, special effects, stunts and art.

All along the way I’ve built a lot of engines and fixed many boats. I’ve worked at dealerships; I’ve ran service departments and currently have my own workshop where I selectively do repairs or services. If there’s something I can’t do then and there, it’s a phone call away from getting organised with the trusted external services I work with.

Basically, you’re in good hands!

On land inspections tell a lot, but having a sea trial is just as important. Who buys a car without driving it first? We need to remember that you can’t just get out and walk when you’re in a boat. You need to be sure your coming back vs being rescued. Some of the boats I have inspected have had the water test cancelled by me as they were not fit for a sea trial, let alone a day out with the family.
